My name is Ivor Karabatkovic, and you are viewing my life passion: Photography.

I'm a photographer based in Cleveland , Ohio , and I photograph newsworthy people. I began shooting photos in High School at the age of 16, and it quickly turned from a hobby to a career. By 18, I was handling weddings, portraits, and had two years of shooting for newspapers under my belt.

I was born in Doboj , Bosnia and Herzegovina before the civil war of the 1990's broke out. After living in Germany for six years, my family and I moved to Cleveland , Ohio to pursue the American Dream.

I am fluent in three languages, and have met many wonderful, inspiring and compassionate people along my journey. It was only natural to put documenting, story telling, interacting with people and taking photos into one career. My life experiences have taught me valuable lessons which I can constantly draw from and use in my approach to clients and events.

While I spend most of my time shooting concerts as a freelancer, my work is frequently published in Observer Media newspapers across the state of Ohio , and my photos have been used by PR companies, record labels, band websites, and various music publications.

Some of my favorite assignments include covering the 2008 election and a visit by the President of the United States with special access. Also, I have the honor of being the youngest photographer to have photographs in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame photo archives.

I am always looking for the opportunity to tell a story through my lens, and capturing the spirit of events, unique personalities of people, and moments in history. If you are looking for a photographer to document your event in a unique, artistic and professional manner, look no further- email me!
